All K-12 schools in the state may apply for an AED.

Those schools that do not have an AED will be

awarded first. Schools that have AEDs may apply for

one (1) additional unit if needed. The Ohio General

Assembly has again appropriated $2.5 million for this

project.  Ohio Senate Bill 321 also provides qualified immunity from civil and criminal liability for people who provide defibrillation with one of the AEDs.

Funds are limited so apply early.  Don’t miss this opportunity to make your school heart safe.

Thank you for all schools that participated in the 2007 initiative!
